Hello. I just found your video so, sorry for the late comment. First, I have a totally AMD system, but I did exactly what you said to do (where I could). OBS as admin, dummy twitch OBS settings. Streamed to dummy account... watched as I streamed, and it was flawless. It was as good as the actual game I was playing. The next day, I streamed to my regular account with no other changes, and there was motion blur just like before. I have replicated this over and over. Dummy stream, perfect. Real stream, not so much. HELP!

So if I have a 1440p 240hz monitor hooked up to my gaming pc And I decide to buy a portable capture card. Like let’s say the one from U-Green where they specify like 4k60 and 1080p60 Plug the HDMI into my PC. USB-C into my gaming laptop. Now I go through that process u did on the gaming pc. Then setup on the other side on the gaming laptop And now I can use the gaming laptop to stream and its encoder. While downscaling from 1440p 240hz to 1080p 60Hz? Or is there some kinda issue like it can’t take in something that high. Cuz ik HDMI is typically locked to 1440p 144hz max. This is a question I have been asking FOREVER and nobody has given me a proper answer

I just wanna film UA-cam videos but have literally spent the last 3 hrs trying to figure out how to incorporate an smb7 into my setup and am more confused than when I started! Budget is not an issue. I do want the BEST sound quality possible... That said, do you think I should I get a rodecaster pro 2 or streamer x? AND is it standard practice to record audio and video separately and combine in post, or is there an easy way to combine audio and vid without ANY audio degradation during recordings (either feeding audio into my camera, or combine both in computer while recording etc? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

PS5 needs nothing extra for game chat audio on your stream. No extra cables, no pc/laptop and no capture card needed. PS5 is literally content creator friendly. Also you can do light video editing for your recorded video content to upload to UA-cam all done directly from the console itself.

i got hdmi from pc to the cards input. and the usbc connected to my streaming laptop. the output for the capture card. why dont you go over that? my laptop will not display whats on my desktop, no matter what i do.

Just got my wave xlr set up and I'm running into an issue with OBS specifically. For some reason the stream mix doesn't reduce the volume for the stream. It looks like everything is playing through the mic/aux so it uses my mics filters. In OBS Global audio devices I have only the Wave Link Stream set and everything else is disabled. I tried using an audio capture source for music but the stream mix still doesn't adjust the volume though it does sound better. Also for some reason the stream output doesn't show up for the stream mix on the Wave Link software. Any suggestions are welcome.

if anyone still views these, I need help desperately with my Elgato HD60 S+. I've had it since October2022, and it was working just fine until now. I've tried using Elgato's 4k Capture Utility to find my capture card, but it's not showing up. I can recall it working late last year with my Switch, but now I'm not getting any signal. Doesn't help that Elgato's prices have skyrocketed since. A new one is more than $300 and I can't afford that. Is there anything I can do to salvage my capture card, so it would at least show up under devices? A hard reset? Anything?
